Theresa Priddy, 90, passed away March 13, 2018, surrounded by her family, at the home of her daughter, Patricia and son-in-law, Douglas Schonert. Theresa had fallen at her Bismarck home early in November 2017, and recently moved to Baldwin, to the home of Patricia and Douglas, who welcomed her to their home and loving care.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, on Monday, March 19. Internment service will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, on Tuesday, March 20 at 11:00 a.m., where Theresa will join her husband Jerry and daughter Margaret.
Visitation will be held at Bismarck Funeral Home on Sunday, March 18 from 5- 7 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00.
Theresa was born December 9, 1927, in Bismarck, to Paul and Agatha (Schneider) Doll, immigrant Germans from Russia. The Doll family moved from Napoleon to Bismarck in 1921, where Theresa was raised and attended school.
Theresa married Gerald (Jerry) Priddy in Church of St. Mary’s, in Bismarck. Jerry predeceased Theresa, on April 8, 1990, in Bismarck.
Theresa was employed by Armor’s Creamery and Arrowhead Cleaners until her retirement.
She enjoyed her family, always excited to see her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, and watching TV, especially MASH. Her grandchildren and great- grandchildren were the light of her life. She always looked forward to spending special time with them.
Theresa is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Yvonne, Evans, WA; David and Kathleen, Bismarck; and one daughter Patricia and son-in-law Doug Schonert, Baldwin, ND. Also surviving her are eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one sister, Katie Benn, of Seattle, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Margaret McCoy; six sisters: Ann Unser, Mag Welch, Liz Bernhardt, Rose Siegel, Eva Doll, and Margaret Doll; as well as three brothers: Wendelin Doll, Anton Doll, and John Doll.
