Mark Lee Pittman, 55, of Bismarck, went home to be with his Savior on August 2, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 5th, 1:30 p.m. at GracePoint Church in Bismarck. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mark was born in Richardson, Texas on June 24, 1963 to L.C. and Frances (Evans) Pittman. He attended Bob Jones University, graduating with a B.A. and M.A. in Biblical Studies. He served as a pastor for 22 years in North Carolina, Indiana, and Maryland. When the Lord called him home, he was serving as a chaplain at Sanford Health.
He is survived by his brother David, children Jessica (Bryan) Dean, Jared (Rachel) Pittman, Jaymie Pittman, Jayson Pittman, and grandchildren, Emma, Ryder, Jaxson, and Cooper Dean, and Clayton Pittman.
Above all else, Mark loved his family and spent his life ministering to people, loving them unconditionally, and pointing them to the grace that he found in Jesus Christ.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mark’s honor may be made to the GracePoint Benevolence Ministry.
