After a very courageous battle with cancer, Linda May Wetsch passed away on July 30, 2018 surrounded by her family.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., at the Church of Corpus Christi.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Bismarck Funeral Home with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m.

Linda was born on December 20, 1957 in Bismarck to Raymond & Dolores Meidinger.  She grew up in a large loving family of three sisters and two brothers.

On October 10, 1975, she married Ron Wetsch in Bismarck ND.  They welcomed their first son in Bismarck and then moved to Hazen.  In Hazen, they welcomed their second son and made many lifelong friends.  From Hazen, they moved to Arizona a short time before settling back in Bismarck where they welcomed their third son.  Linda was fortunate to spend many of the boys' younger years at home with them before returning back to work.
Linda worked for many years at United Blood Services as a phlebotomist.  She enjoyed turning many of her co-workers into friends.  She loved to visit with donors and was always proud when one knew one of her children.  Linda remained dedicated to her work while going through over three years of continuous chemotherapy.

Linda was proud of her sons and daughters in law and of the lives they have built.  She was even more proud of her (grand)babies.  She always wanted to know what they were learning and what interested them.  She always took the time to visit and cuddle, giving them 100% no matter how she was feeling after her treatments.  Linda reminded us often to say I love you to those who matter to you.

Linda is survived by her husband, Ron, children, Mike (Jessy), Bismarck, Brandon (Catherine), Tampa, FL, and Adam (Kristine), Fargo, her precious grandbabies Kaitlyn, Logan, Lillian, Madison, Kinley, Anders, Jaxon and Aurra, her mother, Dolores Meidinger, Bismarck, siblings, Daline (Marv) Heinert, Bismarck, Ed (Duana) Meidinger, Jamestown, Reane Hendrickson, Bismarck, Kelly (Karen) Meidinger, Lincoln, ND, and Stacy (Steve) Hintz, Hazen, mother in law, Darlene Wetsch, Bismarck, siblings in law, Tim (Laurie) Wetsch, Mandan, and Valerie (Bill) Sievert, Bismarck, numerous Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, Co-workers, and Friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Meidinger, father in law, Valentine Wetsch, and brother in law, Ken Henrickson.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate your time by saving a life donating blood at United Blood Services or donate to American Cancer Society.
