Jessie’s sister Dorothy moved with her family to San Francisco, CA in 1956, Jessie visited her sister and during that time met her future husband, Cliff Swedlund. In 1959 Jessie moved to San Francisco. She married Cliff in 1961 and lived in San Francisco until 1977, when they moved to Bismarck after Cliff retired where she lived for 30 years.
