Gail Cecilia Clouston, 72, went to meet her Lord and Savior peacefully in her home on June 25, 2018. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 29th, 5-8 p.m. at Bismarck Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at Evangel Church at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018.
Gail was born December 3, 1945 to Jean Louis and Violet (Bowen) Brunelle in Bismarck, ND. She attended elementary and graduated high school in Mandan, ND in 1963. Then, she graduated from Mary College in Bismarck with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 1967.
Gail worked as an RN for over 30 years in several different areas of patient care and nursing education. Her passion was working in Mental Health Nursing where she was privileged to meet many special people, both patients and their caregivers.
Gail married her best friend, Kenneth R. Clouston, August 12th, 1967 in Mandan, ND. They lovingly raised four children: Kenneth L. Clouston (Christine), Kristin Clouston, Daniel R. Clouston (Alicia), and Mary Beth (Christopher James) Rigdon. Gail treasured her three grandchildren, Kenneth Cordell Clouston, Kyler Reese Clouston and Reece Daniel Clouston. Her greatest love and joy were in her faith and family, especially spending time with her grandsons.
She is also survived by one sister, Jean (Leroy) Boespflug and their children, Scot Boespflug and Holly Cummins, and their grandson Seth Cummins; one aunt, Betty Taghon of Bismarck; brother in-law Gene (Betty) Clouston; sister-in-laws Kay (Steve) Markel and Bette Jo (Mark) Caya; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. She was very thankful to God to be blessed with this special family and many dear friends.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Jean Louis and Violet Brunelle, and her in-laws, Kenneth W. and Marion Clouston.
