Fritz was born on March 27, 1937 in Dickinson ND, the son of John & Anna (Woznick) Twardoski. He was raised and educated in Dickinson. After graduation, he enlisted in the Army for 3 years and served in Korea. On August 25, 1959, he married his lovely wife of 58 years Eleanor Binstock and were blessed with five children. Fritz was a strong man of faith and a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church for over 50 years. He was also a member the Eagles Club, Knights of Columbus, VFW and United Commercial Travelers.

Fritz and Eleanor enjoyed summers at their cabin, fishing, hunting, entertaining friends & family and playing pinochle. Together they loved to travel and spend time with their friends in Arizona. Fritz lived each day full of laughter with a smile on his face. Wherever he went, there’s was a good chance he would strike up a conversation with someone or share his latest joke. He was a barber for 56 years and cut hair for generations of families in the Bismarck area. The friendships and relationships he developed during these years meant the world to him.

Family always came first for Fritz. He loved the outdoors and was always taking his kids hunting and fishing. He spent endless hours swimming with the kids at the pool or having water fights in the yard. His zest for life didn’t slow as he grew older and he continued the adventures with his grandchildren. Fritz could often be seen at a hockey arena or gym cheering on his grandchildren, handing out candy and making friends. He loved getting together with the family, playing games or just taking a drive.

Fritz was survived by his wife of 58 years Eleanor; sons Dale (Anita) their children Ali (Landon), Meg (Jacob) & Clark; Dean; Dave (Mari) and his children Lacey, Lane, Lakin & Landon; Darby (Angela) their children Kade, Morgan & Michael; Debbie (Keith) her children Seth, Dylan & Brady; two great-grandchildren: Avinash & Wells. He is also survived by his brother, Steve (Angie) Twardoski, and sisters, Leona Dolechek, Bennie (Mike) Pfau, and Shirley (Dave) Bray.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, George & Harold; and sisters, Caroline & Betty.
