Elaine Glasser-Speaks, 86, Bismarck, died December 9, 2017 at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 16, at 11:00 a.m. at Church of Ascension. Burial will be held at Mandan Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 15, from 5 -8 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 at Bismarck Funeral Home.
Elaine was born November 13, 1931 in Glen Ullin, ND to the daughter of Frank and Rose (Froehlich) Lanz. She was raised and educated in Glen Ullin and Mandan.
She had a great love for all her family, her many friends and her cat Misty. She had a special closeness with several nieces and nephews.
Elaine is survived by son, Jeff (Joan) Glasser; daughters, Renae (Terry) Huwe, Pam (Boris) Banjac; grandchildren, Jack and Anastaisa Glasser, Joel and Eric Huwe, Garnet and Nick Mayo, Caitlin (Daniel) Feagodt; also numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Jack Glasser and Glen Speaks; two infant sons; one infant daughter; brothers, John, Edward, James and Ray Lanz; sisters, Faye Messmer, Irene Miller and Mary Ann Prince.
