Cleo Ibach, 82, of Mandan, died March 11, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at the Baptist Health Care Center after a long courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bismarck Funeral Home.
Cleo was born June 3, 1935 to Rudolph and Elizabeth (Heil) Sackman in Turtle Lake, ND. She attended school in Turtle Lake. She married Ernest Ibach on March 9, 1965 in Bismarck along with her four children from a former marriage. To this union their son Michael was born July 18, 1967, completing the family. While a housewife and mother, Cleo worked as a CNA. After her children were grown, she worked in the charitable gaming industry as well as Lincoln Oaks Nursery.
She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, doing puzzles, embroidering and traveling.
Cleo is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ernie Ibach; children, Barb (George) Hass, Robyn (late Tony) Mosset, Tracy Lockrem (Jon Strack) and Mike (Jo) Ibach; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Roger Lockrem; three brothers, Rueben, Dale, Eugene, and one sister, Jean Sackman.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Baptist Health Care Center for the excellent care and comfort they provided to Cleo, Ernie, and family.
