Alvina Brehm, 98, passed away in Lake Havasu City, AZ on May 10, 2017. A Memorial of Life will be held at Bismarck Funeral Home on June 9, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. Internment will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
Alvina was born on October 30, 1918, in Hazelton, ND to Christian and Elizabeth Bachman.
Alvina was married in 1936 to Henry Wolfer. They had eight children together. Later they divorced and she married Richard Brehm and lived in Jamestown. After Richards’s death, she moved to Bismarck. In 2010 she moved in with her daughter Ardys until her death.
Alvina is survived by her children: Alice Cooper, Ashby, MN, Shirley Sprague, West Fargo, Donna Lindemeyer, Ashby, MN, Rodger Wolfer, Lincoln, NE, Irene Grenz, Bismarck, Ardys (Gary) Nelson, Bismarck, Robert (Debbie) Wolfer, Mandan, Reyne Woolf, Loveland, CO and twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Alvina was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Christian, Gerhard, Jake, John and Eddy and her sister, Kate.
