14 Aug Jean Ferderer

Jean (Lacher) Ferderer, 83, died July 2, 2019 at a Mandan Care Center.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6^th, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bismarck.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Jean was born March 15, 1936 to Jacob and Flora (Hoffman) Lacher in Bismarck, ND.  She married Valentine Ferderer October 13, 1958.  They spent much of their life farming in Morton and Burleigh Counties.  She also went back to college and became a nurse, working for nineteen years at MedCenter and Sanford Hospitals, including the oncology department.

Jean is survived by her sisters, Anna Jochim and Fran Zander, both of Bismarck, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Val, last year.
