In 1994 Cy became a good mentor for me in the Financial Services Industry. Not only was he a mentor, but he became a close personal friend. Whenever we went on trips as a group, they always had Cy and I room together. I always thought it was because we got along so well, but I think the real reason was that Cy snored and I couldn't hear. Cy was a very caring individual and never wanted to hurt anyone's feelings. On a fishing trip we had the largest fish and the most pounds caught on the end of my line. Cy used an old rubber net to net the fish, the fish bounced off and was gone. For the rest of the day, Cy felt terrible and responsible for the lost fish. I asked Cy to see the net, threw it in the lake and assured Cy it was not his fault. We have laughed about it many times since. He is a great man and will be missed by a lot of people.
