I am so sorry to hear of Valentines passing- I have been cutting Valentines hair for many years. He always had a good joke to tell or even a good fib - anything to get a person to laugh. He was a very very kind soul. I adored his outlook on life. I was just at his house a little over a week ago to cut his hair - when he called for me to come over he asked me to bring lunch so we could have lunch together as he proceeded to tell me stories about his childhood and growing up and getting married and how he would go see his wife Jean several times a week in the nursing home. He spoke often about his brothers and sisters and would tell me stories about them also. He LOVED to visit ! May this sweet man rest in peace. I won't ever forget Valentine and his kindness. My thoughts and prayers are with Jean and the rest of the family.

I remember Uncle Val and Aunt Jean coming out to our farm to play cards. Jean always the sweetest and Val the jokester and story teller. I always believed his stories and was in amazement of the man and his adventures. Jean would just smile and nod her head like yeah he's right, it happened. I know he is with my parents playing a game of pinochle. Love you Uncle Val
