I am very sad to hear of Bill's passing. I worked with Bill at Bismarck's Home Depot and enjoyed his company and wisdom. I hadn't talked to him often in recent years which makes me sad. He will be missed.

Hello Joc, I'm Bill's cousin from Seattle. My mother, Lillian (Schneider) Stanley is Uncle Matt's baby sister. We met a very long time ago, probably early 1980's. I have many fond memories of family trips back "home" and spending time at the house in Linton with cousins Kevin and "Billy". We were so very saddened to hear of his passing. Wishing you strength and peace in this very difficult time. God Bless...

Joc, I am Bill's cousin that lives in the Seattle area. My mom is Mary (Schneider) Mastel from Hazelton who is Bill's dad's sister. When we were young Bill and his big brothers spent a lot of time at our house and us at theirs. His mom was the nicest lady ever and an amazing cook. Many of her recipes were passed on and still used. My best memory of Bill is when he was very young and we had this small doll crib with wheels that we always scrunched him into and pushed him around outside. He seemed to like it and had a great little kid laugh. He will always have a place in my heart. I hope the memories you and your family have and the stories others tell you of their memories will always help you smile when you remember this very good man.
