The world is a little less nice now without Genie. She was truly a sweetheart. May God continue to bless all of us with memories of Genie.

As I grew older, I began to realize how special of a person Aunt Genie was. She truly loved many as her own family. I feel fortunate that I was able visit her just a few months ago. She and her kindness will be missed by all who knew her.

Gretchen and Tonya thinking of you during this time. Genie worked with Central Valley Health District during her time with the ND Department of Health. She was part of our extended staff and provided guidance to our agency as we worked together to keep the community free of disease. You will be missed.

Tonya, Gretchen and family so sorry to learn of Genie's passing. I enjoyed working with her over the years and I remember how she would always smile when talking about her family. She was so proud to be a grandma and loved you all dearly. Wishing peace and comfort to all of you at this difficult time.

I worked with Genie and Merle at the NDSH in Jamestown and later as the pastor at Immanuel Lutheran and a volunteer with the Central Valley Health District in Jamestown. Genie was a genuine and joyful person to get to know as a co-worker, member of the congregation, and confidante. May her memory be blessed and much love and comfort to her family.

What a joy to have known Genie! She had a zest for living that greatly inspired those around her. Always willing to do what she could and share what she had, she touched many lives in her far too short time here on earth. I will treasure my memories of her smile, her "can do" attitude and her caring and generous ways. My sincere sympathy to her family and friends.

Sympathy, thoughts and prayers during this time. Having gone to nursing with Genie I know how kind and wonderful she was. I remember your mom and dad making and sharing meals with classmates while in nursing school. Until we meet again 🙏🏻.hauntyA

We have such good memories of Genie-we have been life long friends, playing together as children as our parents were good friends. She was always in a good mood and we enjoyed meeting at "Bonanza", eating and talking about the old days. She told us so many stories about their farm, rattlesnakes and all. Bless her soul; and bless you Gretchen and Tanya. You will miss her forever, but think about how happy your dad and mom are now in heaven. Love and sympathy to both of you. Love, Norm and Audrey

We are so sorry for the loss of your mother. Genie. My life was greatly impacted through the support and friendship when Myrle and I were college classmates in early 70 ‘s. Numerous meals together and istudy times we supported each other to complete our nurses training. I am so grateful to have been a part of their lives. Our deepest sympathies to you and your family at this time... Love Dan & Pam.
