My fondest memories of Uncle Tom were at the Lake, his farm or when he visited in Washington. He was always quick to laugh and slow to anger. He and my dad, Norman, were always partners in crime and ever ready for a game of pinochle.

Oh my goodness! So many wonderful memories of ‘Shorty’. From great games of pool in the basement on the farm, to fishing at the lake, to ALL the jokes! This man made me smile every time I got to see him ❤️

Sincere sympathy to Verlla and the Geloff family; and I'm certain you will have to search the deep recesses of your minds for a while as mine will be a voice from the past. As I do, you may recall many shared memories of many years ago. Tom worked with my brother Al at Cenex in Bismarck. I met Verlla at BJC. And a whole group of us were friends in our youth (Tom, Pete, Pius G., John, Wes E. Phyllis D., Brother Al and his wife Lenis. My what fun times we had at many a dance halls or parties at someones house. I now live in Columbus, Ohio but check the Tribune via the Internet and many times cross paths such as this with dear old and former friends. Tom was a wonderful and special person and it was so sweet when he and Verlla hit it off. Might I have connected the two of you with a blind date? May God bless and be with you all as you lay your loved one to rest. Marjean (Entzel) Hill (Mrs. Edward)

What a great guy Tom was. Fond memories of him in the chuckwagon selling burgers at softball tourneys. My son was about 7 and told my dad that he was going to go to the chuckwagon and get a burger for half price. So of course Tom waited on him and Tom said well sure I will give you a burger for half price. So he handed my son the burger wrapped in a napkin and my son brings it over to my dad all smiles and when he opened it, there was no meat in it. I looked over at the chuckwagon and Tom was laughing hysterically. Simple fun. That's what Tom was all about. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. RIP Tom.
