Jerry was the kindest man I have had the opportunity to work with. I am very thankful that I was able to become so close with him and his family in such a short period of time. He will not be forgotten and will be greatly missed. Sending love and hugs.

To all the Balzers my deepest sympathies. Jerry was a special guy who always had a smile on his face and a word of encouragement when you saw him at the Capitol. I am sorry for your loss.

We miss seeing Eunice and Jerry at Mass at St. Anne's. Always enjoyed our visits and teasing each other. The Lord welcomes this fine gentleman and he is at his eternal home awaiting those that love him, were privileged to know him and were most fond of him. Peace and comfort to you and your family Eunice.

I was recently in Bismarck for another funeral and I happened to read that Jerry had passed away. I am saddened to hear that. I remember my late husband, Gene telling me how much he appreciated the help that Jerry gave to the American Legion. Gene thought highly of him. I hope that the many memories you have together with family and friends will comfort you and bring you peace.

My sympathy to all of Jerry's family. I worked with Jerry years ago at Job Service. He was always a kind and thoughtful person. When I was the North Dakota Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Director, I was able to work with Jerry and Joe Novak. It was their desire to get approved license plates for our North Dakota veterans. As director I was able to make this happen. It was so good to see Jerry again. He did many good things throughout his life and I'm sure you are all proud of him. May he RIP.
