I express my deepest sympathy to the family of Ron. I will miss our Monday morning conversations about all of his hunting and fishing adventures and the reminiscing of our times together working for Midco Theatres. I am incredibly sad and will miss him dearly. I hope he is catching some keepers and seeing some nice bucks from the treestand. Godspeed to you my friend.

Oh Ron... Where do I start!!! 20 years ago we met as I was a first year teacher and you showed me great respect!! We continued our friendship as we would talk fishing and hunting throughout the years!! Each summer you would let me know where the fish were biting... Then more recently I enjoyed as you had more time to fish but would always keep me in the loop as to how it was going!! Well on August 15 you texted and gave me a bad time because I was antelope hunting in Wyoming rather than fishing on Lake Sakakawea... Well I wanted you to know that late this afternoon I wrapped my tag around my best antelope buck and wonder if you were looking down at me while the hunt unfolded!!! I'll miss our shared fishing conversations!!! I hope you find the best walleye lake in Heaven my friend!!!

Ron was a true gift to us at LHS. His smile and his willingness to be our fixer-upper man, our find-it-man, our willing- to -try -anything - to -help -us -at- Legacy man and the man with a lot of this stories that made us smile. Ron has shown kindness and patience with so many of the staff and students at Legacy. We were blessed by his presence and hard work. We thank God for Ron and pray blessings of comfort, peace, love and provision for all of his family.

Hey, Ron We know you are in the different dimension and we cannot see you anymore, but your smile and laugh would be with us always. From now on, every time I catch fish, I will look up and say “thank you, Ron” and every time, I did not catch fish, I will look up and say “Thank you, Ron” and I will see your smile up in sky. (more likely grin on your face) We all join you later, until then, keep fishing and hunting up there and let us know where and when to go. Joette, Kyra, Berkley, Dalton and all the dogs (Bobby Blue, Gracy and Tucker ) will miss you, but you are going to be in everyone’s heart, so do not worry up there. Just show us your grin and smile on the face. Takashi

My husband's family and I have known the Schumachers for over 30 years, and I recently reconnected with Ronnie while working with him at the Civic Center. He would always find me whenever I worked and tell me all his latest fishing stories and show me pictures from his phone. I most recently saw him at Walmart when he was buying some special fishing tackle, and once again he told me all about his latest fishing adventures along with all the photos. We talked for a very long time and hoped to meet up soon in Pick City where we both spend our weekends in the summer. I will miss his kindness and enthusiasm for fishing. Thoughts and prayers to the whole family. He will be dearly missed.
